According to Microsoft : CAUSE: Knowledge Consistency Checker (KCC) cannot add a replica of the directory partition from a source domain controller using the specified transport because the transport-specific address attribute is missing on either the source domain controller or the local domain controller.
RESOLUTION: Verify that the source domain controller can replicate using the appropriate transport.
