Cause:
SQL Server is unable to register in Active Directory when it is installed on a Domain Controller (DC).
Solution:
The fix is to replace these two files in your \80\Tools\Binn directory on your SQL Server with the ones from the original shipping SQL Server CD. To see if this corrects the problem, first rename your existing files, then, copy them from the original CD.Those files are:
sqladhlp.exe, xpadsi.exe.
