In Exchange System Managernavigate down to Server Name\Protocols\SMTP and
then right click on the Default SMTP Virtual Server and then click on
Properties. Click on the Access tab and then click on the Authentication
button. Make sure that Anonymous is selected here. If not, select the
checkbox and then click on OK, OK. Restart the SMTP Service.
The reason for this is because the Mailbox Manager process uses CDO to
submit the email and the server must allow
Anonymous connections so that the
email can be sent. |
