You can either setup the SMTP Protocol Log on the IMS (Q257538) and see the actual communication process and see if the remote server is terminating the connection and why. -OR- You can telnet directly to remote server on port 25 and try to send a message (Q153119). Then you can see first hand why you get the error -OR- You can remove the IMS - the IMCData directory - REBOOT - reinstall the IMS - Reinstall SP4 - Test mail flow. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
