CAUSE:
This issue can occur because Exchange 2000 does not suppress these error messages when the store is shutting down. These error messages are misleading and do not indicate a problem. They can be safely ignored.
RESOLUTION:
To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server.Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server. This problem was first corrected in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server Service Pack 1.
